TRAINING ON THE USE OF SMART PLS APPLICATION AS A STUDENT RESEARCH DATA PROCESSING TOOL

Abstract

In the era of globalization, technological advances have made significant contributions in supporting various activities, including research. This community service activity aims to equip Nusa Cendana University's Bachelor of Management students with the ability to use SmartPLS, software based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), to improve the quality of quantitative research. The training includes an introduction to theory, demonstration of use, direct practice of data processing, and group discussions to solve research problems. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to understand and apply SmartPLS optimally, making it easier for them to complete complex data analysis. The enthusiasm of students, especially those in their final semester, reflects the great benefits felt from this training. With this improvement in skills, it is hoped that the research produced by students will be of higher quality, relevant, and able to make a real contribution to the development of science and professional practice in the future.
